 SPINNAKERS/ GENAKER

All Lee spinnakers utilize the full power of our computer-aided designs to maximize performance and reduce costs. They are sewn in French seams with 6-points zigzag stitches for maximum durability. Each spinnaker comes complete with a ball bearing swivel at the head and a turtle bag. Check with your local sales rep for your choice of colours.

Radial Head Drifter, Blister (Asymmetrical Cruising Spinnaker)

Any sailor is exposed to a wide variety of wind conditions. One day the wind is blowing a stiff breeze, the next it's a whisper. For that reason the Cruising Spinnaker (Figure A) is a very useful addition to the inventory of the average cruising yacht. It's the easiest to use requiring no pole or separate halyard and is surprisingly affordable. A launching and dousing sock is optional but recommended.

We can also make this sail in Tri-Radial and Star-Cut designs at extra cost.

Tri-Radial, Star Cut & Radial Head Spinnakers
The Tri-Radial (Figure B) is our all purpose spinnaker, performing well from a reach to a dead run in a variety of wind conditions. The Star-Cut (Figure C) is a reaching sail and frequently referred to as the "storm" spinnaker. It's built specifically for heavy wind performance - very useful for the racing or offshore sailor. The Radial Head spinnaker (Figure D) is a spinnaker designed primarily for downwind performance and is also somewhat less costly.
